Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This policy explains how Moonlit Tales uses cookies and similar storage technologies.

1. What we use

Moonlit Tales uses a single authentication token stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie in the traditional sense, but governed by the same regulations). This token:

  • Is created when you log in and expires after 30 days
  • Is used only to authenticate your requests to our servers
  • Contains no personal information — only a secure session reference
  • Is deleted when you sign out

2. What we do not use

We do not use:

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Social media cookies
  • Third-party cookies of any kind

3. Your choices

Because we use only an essential authentication token, the service cannot function without it. You can clear it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser's localStorage. Most browsers also allow you to clear localStorage manually via their developer tools.

4. Changes

We will update this policy if we introduce any new storage technologies. You will be notified by email of material changes.
